NIMA’s Secret Santa office party

What a year it’s been! 2024 was truly incredible for NIMA. From major product launches to smashing milestones, this year has truly showcased what our team can achieve. As we look back, we’re proud of how far we’ve come and excited for what’s ahead.

Our Products and Accomplishments

DragonSwap- The Native DeFi Hub on Sei
One of the biggest highlights of the year was DragonSwap, the native DeFi hub on Sei. We kicked off the testnet phase in January, building anticipation for what was to come. On May 28, DragonSwap officially launched on mainnet, and the response has been amazing.

Since going live, DragonSwap quickly gained momentum and solidified its place as one of the top 50 DEXs by TVL. This reflects the incredible support from our growing community.

DSX- One App. On-chain. Every Chain.
November 13 marked another key moment for NIMA with DSX’s alpha release. We wanted to solve a fundamental challenge: making cross-chain trading as simple as using a centralized exchange, without compromising on security. DSX eliminates the complexity of bridges and seed phrases while keeping everything on-chain — bringing true innovation to multi-chain trading, leveraged positions, and yield opportunities. This launch marks an important moment in making crypto trading seamless, secure, and accessible to all.

Seijin- Community-Driven Fundraising
Another NIMA project is Seijin, the first community-driven launchpad on Sei. Unlike traditional launchpads that are often exclusive and complex, Seijin is built for everyone — no user tiers, no minimum stakes, just a fair and inclusive platform.

Inspired by the Japanese word ‘Jin,’ meaning ‘the people’, Seijin reflects its mission to unite communities, investors, and teams to support the most promising projects in the Sei ecosystem. Currently in testing, Seijin is preparing for its mainnet launch, promising to make fundraising simpler, fair, and accessible for all.

Global Connections: From NYC to Bangkok

We did more than write code this year. We traveled the world, soaking up new insights and experiences wherever we went. From conferences to small team get-togethers, these trips brought us new ideas, inspiration, and closer friendships.

New York City: ERC404 NYC
In April, we headed to New York City for ERC404 NYC, where we got to exchange ideas and learn about the future of Ethereum. Between panels and laid-back conversations, we walked away feeling excited to keep pushing.

Warsaw: ETHWarsaw
Our next stop was Warsaw for ETHWarsaw, one of Europe’s leading Ethereum events. The energy there was amazing — Developers, founders, and crypto fans all got together to share ideas and build. We loved being part of this event and showcasing what we’re building within Sei ecosystem.

Bangkok: DragonSwap Team Offsite
To wrap things up, we headed to Bangkok for a DragonSwap team offsite. It was an unforgettable experience — not just because of the work we accomplished, but for the time we spent together as a team. Over brainstorming sessions, delicious Thai food, and plenty of laughs, we aligned on our vision and prepared for the road ahead.
